Fact 1: The Greatest “Lucky God” of Wano
Kin’emon possesses a kind of “luck-based Haki” that rivals even Buggy or Usopp. The peak of this came during the Wano Arc, when he misread Yasuie’s coded message about the rendezvous point (changing it from Habu Port to Tokage Port). This ridiculous mistake unintentionally deceived the spy Kanjuro, causing the enemy to ambush the wrong location and allowing their allies to preserve their forces.
Everyone—including their enemies—believed Kin’emon to be a brilliant strategist who had outplayed them, while he himself admitted: “I was honestly terrified!”

Fact 2: A “Useless” Devil Fruit That Became the MVP
The Fuku Fuku no Mi has no combat abilities at all—it simply allows Kin’emon to create clothes or disguises by placing a leaf or a stone on someone’s head. While it may sound useless, this ability turned out to be crucial, enabling the entire group to infiltrate Onigashima without being detected. Without “tailor” Kin’emon, the plan to raid Kaido would have failed from the very start.

Fact 3: Zoro’s Unintentional Mentor
Kin’emon is renowned for his “Foxfire” technique, which allows him to cut through flames and even generate fire with his sword. Zoro was deeply impressed by this ability when he first witnessed it at Punk Hazard and had always wanted to learn it. Later on, by closely observing Kin’emon’s technique, Zoro was able to master the ability to cut fire himself (and ultimately defeat King the Wildfire).
